From years of experience, we have streamlined our web design process. With careful thought and quite a bit of learning along the way, we have refined our process and outlined it into four simple steps. By simplifying, we’ve created a system that works.
STEP 1: Mockup & Planning
The first thing we do is present a mockup. Accompanying this mockup is an estimate (if it is a flat rate project). Each mockup is prepared within a few days time and presented to our client for approval.
STEP 2: Agreement
Once the mockup is just how you’d like the site to look, we sign a simple contract stating that the website will be designed per the mockup. At this point, we ask that you start gathering all content for the site. NOTE: A 35–50% deposit will be required up front depending on project scope.
STEP 3: Development
During the development phase we create your site on a live server. We’ll give you weekly updates detailing what we’re working on and progress made. Development turnaround time is typically two to three weeks depending on project size.
STEP 4: Finishing
We add all the content you have at this point in time charge free. Once this content is added to the site, the client may request additional changes be made. These changes can be edits to content, site structure, etc., and will be assessed at $65/hour.
